August 2005 Dexter Days Celebration
This was a good day on Main Street in Dexter, Maine. The American Flag seems to point to the Town Clock, a centerpiece for this small rural community in what is now designated as the “Maine Highlands.” When I was young, there were often Street Dances here during the summer. The bands would set-up and perform from large flatbed trucks. People would come from many towns around to celebrate.
